Meet the Board

A Board of Directors governing Consumers Energy is elected from the membership by the members each year at the annual meeting.

Each cooperative member has one vote in the election of directors. Since each member of the cooperative has only one vote, your voice in the operation of your energy delivery and energy management cooperative is equal to that of your neighbor. The directors are elected to a three-year term and meet monthly to set policies and review the operations of Consumers Energy.
