New Faces at Consumers Energy

Consumers Energy is pleased to announce that Matt Weiland has been named Nevada Assistant Foreman. Matt comes to us after having served as the Electric Superintendent of Panora Municipal Electric in Panora, Iowa. Matt has also held Superintendent positions at Villisca and Aurelia, Iowa, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1996.

“I am looking forward to the challenges of the new position and the opportunities that lie ahead,” said Weiland.

Russ Mjolsness recently joined Consumers Energy as Nevada Field Service Representative. Russ comes to us after having worked at the Grand Junction and Ames municipal electric utilities. Russ has also held Journeyman Lineman positions with Midland Power in Jefferson, Iowa, and the City of Beresford in South Dakota.

“I am really excited about the position and I look forward to working for Consumers Energy,” said Mjolsness.
