Consumers Energy's New Appointee's
Paul Sams – Consumers Energy’s New Account Executive
Paul Sams is Consumers Energy’s new Account Executive. He has
dedicated over 22 years to serving the members of the Cooperative.
Paul began his career at the Cooperative in 1979 as a truck driver/grounds
man and has worked his way up through the ranks to his most recent
position, Operations Superintendent. In his new Account Executive
role, Paul will be working closely with residential, farm, and small
commercial members to design energy solutions, assist in updating
existing services and new construction building.
Rodney Parcel Named Natural Gas Field Service Representative
Consumers Energy is pleased to announce that Rodney Parcel has been
named Natural Gas Field Service Representative in Nevada. Rodney
comes to Consumers Energy from Midwest Energy (ME) in Kansas out
of Scott City. Midwest Energy is the largest natural gas cooperative
in the United States. Prior to working for Midwest Energy, Rodney
worked for Utility Consultants for five years troubleshooting natural
gas systems in the Midwest and constructing distribution pipelines
and services.
Cindy Vaughn Promoted to Staff Accountant
Consumers Energy is happy to announce that Cindy Vaughn was recently
promoted to Staff Accountant. Cindy joined the Cooperative in December
2000 as the Billing Services Coordinator. Prior to working at Consumers
Energy, she worked in the banking and accounting fields for Bowman
& Company P.C., Home Federal Savings Bank and Marshalltown Savings
& Loan. Cindy has received two Associates of Arts degrees from
Marshalltown Community College in Business and Accounting.
Matt Weiland Promoted to Field Service Foreman
Matt Weiland has been promoted to the Field Service Foreman position
out of the Marshalltown office. Matt has been with Consumers Energy
since January of this year working as an Assistant Foreman on the
Nevada crew. Previously Matt served as the Electric Superintendent
of Panora Municipal Electric in Panora, Iowa. He has also held superintendent
positions at Villisca and Aurelia, Iowa.
