Meet Our New Assistant Foreman at Consumers Energy
Steve Armstrong has been selected to fill the Assistant Foreman
position at Consumers Energy. He joined Consumers Energy in 1986
as Journeyman Lineman and has been a dedicated employee since that
time. Prior to 1986 Steve was a lineman for the City of Bloomfield
in southern Iowa and also helped Linn County REC in the summer prior
to that. “I think we will find that Steve’s team attitude
as well as his commitment to excellence, especially in the areas
of safety, reliability and customer service, will allow him to excel
in his new role,” said CEO/General Manager Brian Heithoff.
Steve is a graduate of Northwest Iowa Technical College in Sheldon
and went to Marion High School in Marion. Steve is active in Pheasants
Forever, National Wild Turkey Federation and provides educational
instruction on hunting.
