This voluntary program is available to anyone who wishes to contribute a minimum of $2 per month—maximum of $80 per month—to help make Iowa more energy independent and improve our environment. This fund will be used to pay Central Iowans who construct renewable energy systems 1.5 cents per kilowatt-hour for all energy sold back to the wholesale market.
