In 2010 Consumers Energy awarded two $1000 scholarships to members’ children who were Seniors in High School. Our selection was based on a combination of grades, work experience, participation in school, community activities and a recommendation from a third party.
Lineworker/Powerline Program Scholarship Learn More
In 2010 Consumers Energy offered one $1000 Lineworker Scholarship to assist students pursing a career in the power industry. Applicants must have applied and been accepted in the Lineworker/Powerline Program at a Midwest College of their choice. Preference will be given to Consumers Energy members in Iowa.
Applications for the above scholarships are also available at the cooperate office beginning in January 2011.
