Consumers Energy began operating in the late 1930's as an electric
utility provider. Today we have $11 million in assets and are
providing
electric service to over 4,500 consumers. Our customers cover a
range of home, farm, and business members in rural
and
suburban areas of Marshall and Story counties as well as areas
in Polk, Jasper and Tama counties.
For homeowners, we offer a choice of two base prices
and an incentive price.
